Lend A Heart enters into formal agreements with facilities for animal-assisted therapy programs. Such programs are monthly (and one hour) or as mutually agreed upon by the facility and Lend A Heart.
There are usually between 2 and 12 teams (handlers and pets) that attend a program. Lend A heart teams include cats, dogs and rabbits as therapy animals.
